Is this just AI-generated gibberish?
Not at all. The foundational lore, core characters, and world rules are all hand-crafted. Elana (our AI engine) acts as a dynamic game master, stitching together logic and generating personalised stories based on your choices within those human-defined boundaries.
The audio must sound robotic
We prioritize quality. The narration is engineered to sound natural and pleasant, perfectly conveying the story’s tone and atmosphere rather than a synthetic voice.
Is Elana competing with real books, authors and actors?
We don’t view it as competition. Elana offers an interactive experience that simply wasn’t possible before, complementing traditional storytelling rather than replacing it.
Do you send my personal data to Big Tech?
Absolutely not. We are privacy-focused by design and collect the bare minimum of data required. Nothing linked to your real identity ever leaves our system.
How long is each episode?
Episodes run roughly five minutes, making them perfect for a short commute, a coffee break, or winding down before bed. At the end of each episode, your choices shape the next one.
Do I need a special app to listen?
No. While a dedicated app is coming soon, you can listen immediately via the web or your favourite podcast player. We generate a secure, unique RSS feed for your adventure that works with Apple Podcasts, YouTube Music, and others.
What happens if I make a bad choice?
There are no "wrong" choices, only different consequences. You might lose an item, strain an alliance, or uncover a hidden path. The story adapts to your entire history, ensuring the journey remains uniquely yours.
