Is Elana competing with real books, authors and actors?
It isn't. Elana offers an interactive experience that simply wasn’t possible before, complementing traditional storytelling rather than replacing it.
Is my personal data sent to Big Tech?
Absolutely not. Elana Tales is privacy-focused by design and collects the bare minimum of data required. Nothing linked to your real identity is shared, and you can delete your account and all its data from the app at any time.
How long is each episode?
Episodes run 6 to 7 minutes, making them perfect for a short commute, a coffee break, or winding down before bed. At the end of each episode, your choices shape the next one.
Which phones does it work on?
Elana Tales is an Android app, arriving on Google Play. An iPhone version is coming soon.
Can I get one episode a day instead of playing non-stop?
Yes. Choose "Play as you go" and the next episode is written as soon as you make your choice, or choose a single episode a day, which arrives at the time you pick.
Can I listen without a connection?
Yes. New episodes download in the background, so they are ready when you are, even offline. Making a choice and starting a new adventure do need a connection.
How do credits work?
One credit is one episode, spent when you confirm a choice. Listening to and reading episodes you already have is always free. You start with 3 free credits, and a $9.99 monthly subscription gives you 20 more every month.
What happens if I make a bad choice?
